I mean—it's the Rolex Sub. Basically the most famous watch of the last 70 years. If you want people to know you have money and think you have taste (even if neither are true), this is the first watch you buy. Whether it's gracing actual divers (a rarity these days) or finance bros across the globe (way more common), if you know any watch by sight, it's probably this one.

First developed in the early 50's, and made famous by none other than James Bond, the Sub was an immediate smash success. Though the price has dramatically outpaced inflation (the original MSRP was $150, which is roughly two grand in today's dollars), the Sub's reputation remains stellar.

Anyone who's anyone in the watch world (and outside) has had one, or wants one. It's been worn by Chuck Yeager, Elvis, Steve McQueen, Sly Stallone, and more have all rocked the Sub, and it will remain a staple for years to come.
